Spanish Heart : Bridal Editorial ~ Tudela, Spain

Here in Northern Ireland we've gotten about two weeks of summer, its apparently been the wettest and coldest in twenty years! Here's hoping we get a nice Autumn and don't head straight into Winter. So with that said, there has been a lot of day-dreaming on my end of warm vacations and sunshine, I never thought I would miss those sweltering hot southern summers, but I have lately! Last September I was enjoying a week in Spain with friends working (well really playing :)) and styling for this bridal editorial shoot that was featured on Magnolia Rouge and Hochzeitsguide

So much of modern bridal style is Spanish inspired (the lace veils, cathedral length trains and large Frida Kahlo inspired floral crowns) so we drew on that for most of our inspiration - the ancient architecture, the strong traditions, and the dramatic style of the Spanish Señorita. We shot around the beautiful streets and cathedral walls of Tudela and then headed out to the rugged landscape of Bardenas Reales National Park. Paula O'Hara captured the story of the shoot in a really beautiful write-up over on her blog if you would like to read more!

Have a lovely weekend! x
