Summer Wedding at Trudder Lodge, Co. Wicklow

Happy Friday folks! Now that the nice weather has made it's way into Ireland this week (can I get an Amen!?) I thought it would only be fitting to share this sweet summer wedding that took place last June. This couple has incredible style and their wedding day was a very special one to be a part of. They wanted their day to feel like a garden party, cool and relaxed, and Trudder Lodge was the perfect choice of venue. Trudder Lodge is a Georgian style country house set in the heart of Wicklow. The house was built in 1835 and is tucked away down a long drive filled with beautiful woodland and gardens.

The couple said their vows under a canopy of trees as their guests sat on benches draped in sheepskin blankets. The guests then sipped cocktails on the terrace of the house and on the lawn where they sprawled out on soft blankets and plush cushions while the piano music trickled out from the open windows onto the garden party. They then entered through the back walled garden pathway into the old stone walled barn for a rustic, family styled dinner and danced the night away. Below is a bit of a taster of how their day unfolded, documented perfectly by David McClelland
