Irish Folk Styled Inspirational Shoot
Several weeks ago I had the pleasure of styling this amazing shoot. The incredibly talented Paula O'Hara and I had been dreaming up this shoot for quite a while and we finally took the leap and did it. We wanted to create a natural styled wedding that focused on the roots of this land- that still somehow felt nostalgic of the simplicity of the way things used to be, yet a nod to the present as well. Before my first visit, my thoughts of Ireland were filled with rolling green hills, stone walls, Guinness, leprechauns, rain, and thatched roof cottages...while I wasn't entirely wrong in my thinking, since moving here I've come to learn about so much more that makes up this beautifully fascinating country. It was important to focus on the gourmet farm fresh produce, the home baked breads, linen, wool, lace, whiskies, lush green foliage, and a simple love story to tie it all together. It's amazing seeing your vision come to life, and through the lens of Paula, it couldn't have been captured better. Thank you again to all the amazing creatives who took time to collaborate on this. Hope you all have a lovely Saint Patrick's Day!
